Nutrient Management

Growers will learn about the proper timing of nutrients and liming, the importance of maintaining proper nutrient levels for optimum crop production, how to properly take soil fertility samples.  You will learn about soil productivity and why all soils do not have the same capability to grow a particular crop.  Learn why we manage nitrogen and phosphorus differently, and how we can get maximum potential while still protecting the environment and the rivers and streams in Virginia.

Space is limited to 30 participants.
